Am thinking of purchasing from USA one of the disks that allow you to watch Satelite TV from anywhere in the world. Has anyone any experience of this and is using one etc etc, please. All the blurb says it works, of course!!!!

You could even get Freesat I would suspect.

Another PCI satellite TV card manufacturer (also Freeview models) is Twinhan:

Stuartli: I have the Video Mate E650 and can assure you that it DOES NOT support Freesat, only composite and Freeview.

I can't comment on the E350 though which you have shown us but I suspect it does not support Freesat.

I would say that the Video Mate gives me the best quality video I have ever produced and I am most happy with it.

You seem to be getting rather confused...:-)

The link provided by Diversion is this:

and not the E650, which is a Freeview (digital terrestial television card) as is the case with my Twinhan Freeview (D+A) PCI TV card. See:

If you can connect the S350 to a Sky dish, perhaps linked to a quad LNB), it most certainly would be a link on the route to receiving Freesat (BBC/ITV).

Stuartli: Of course you are right. I do however have the S350 which was the first one I purchased and could not get it to scan for any programs, so I took it out and bought the E650.

As the Freesat service is so new, I would be surprised if S350 does support Freesat.

Again you are confused...:-)

Both use the same satellite.
