Hi there, i have purchased a couple of the above sata drives, my motherboard has 6 sata connectors, my first one is utilised for my hard drive, my previous drives are old so i thought of a change and these are ide. im a bit worried on installing the new drives, on the back of the drives i have a sata powerinput and a sata signal port, does the sata signal(which is smaller port) be plugged to the motherboard(say port 2, or 3 for my second dvd drive?)or do i have to follow a certain procedure via bios. hope you can help

Any one will do,I normally put them to the last two(5th&6th),the bios will recognise them automatically.

Don't forget the correct sata power connection.

Each sata drive needs its own power supply, anyway you can have the 2 sata to 1 molex power adapter.
