Trying to connect a Samsung Smart TV model UE48JU6445 to my PC via Ethernet port for internet. The PC internet is connected via USB tethering on my phone. It's using PDANet and the computer is running on Windows 10.

We've tried to use the Ethernet cable and a wireless adapter D-Link, but nothing so far has worked. We want to try anything to get this to work. We don't have a router or anything like that. Phone----->PC----->TV (connection we want).

By doing ipconfig /all, this is what was brought up:

Have you set up the network configuration on the TV? If it has been setup for automatic configuration, try manual setup. Use IP 192.168.19.9, subnet 255.255.255.0 and use gateway 192.168.19.1. You may also need to define a DNS. I suggest using 8.8.8.8.

Hello, thank you for your response! We tried your settings, and it connected to the computer briefly (it said "connected to the network but no internet access"). So we went back and checked the settings on the PC and shared the internet connection to the ethernet connection and now it doesn't work again. We've unshared it, put in the same manual input settings you gave us, tried automatic, and it's back to no longer getting to the network.
