S video

On the side of my laptop there's a S video connector, i don't have the windows media centre software just normal windows xp home edition, what is this for? Cheers.

You can connect your PC to your TV via this port so that you can view the laptops output on your TV

Remember that "S" video is video only. You need to connect the audio leads as well if you want to have sound.

Remember also that not all TV sets have an "S" video input.
