Runtime error on booting up

  Geoff 11:21 26 May 2003

I run Windows 98SE with 2 20gig hard discs, and 256mb RAM and the following message has started to appear when I boot up my computer.
The last item to appear, after the background etc. is the following message in it's own little box in the centre of the screen:
RunTime error 9
Subscript out of range

If I click on OK the box and it's message will disappear and everything appears to work normally, EXCEPT my screensaver fails to "kick in" no matter what time-setting I have specified.
Is there any harm in running with this runtime error, how can I correct this fault and will this sort out the screen saver problem?
P.S. I'm a relatively raw computer user, so no fancy stuff like going into DOS or registry, if it can be avoided
Many thanks in anticipation,
Geoff Wright

are you using a third party screen saver or a wallpaper changing utility?
you may need to instal the VB6 runtime files.
