Can you help with a problem on my computer - when I try to work on either MoneyManager or my Wages file I keep getting the following message:

16 Bit Windows Subsystem

C:\windows\system32\autoexe.NT

The system file is not suitable for running MS.DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

When I last used these programms last week everything was fine - I am running on Windows XP Home edition

I have tried a sys restore to no avail????

click here for an explanation and cure, but I would run a system file check first.
Start /Run and type sfc /scannow (Note the space between sfc and /) you will need your XP disc.

I see we are both on the same track Chris, would sfc have cured it ?

You would think so wouldn't you but the redirection issues wouldn't get repaired.

Thanks, we live and learn.
