Rundll32.exe..Can You Help

  anniel 10:46 02 May 2005

I have start up guard on my PC.

About 5 times this am I get the following message asking me if I want the Rundll32.exe to automatically start.

It says the start up command is this:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe" msconf.dll,Clean

I am not sure what to this a valid application or is it a nasty??

Thanks everyone

I do have net meeting on my is only used to allow my son in Australia to take control of my PC when I have a real problem.

I did accidentally click on the icon on my taskbar this am and Net Meeting opened. I then closed maybe that is why I got the message.

Should I allow it to be in my start up menu or not?

I really am not sure what to do...I am not answering the start up guard query until I know what to do.

If you only use it occasionally then I would remove it from the Startup folder.

To run Netmeeting Start, Run, type in

and click OK.
