I keep having problems with my computer regarding the rpc server or sumthing. Last night in an attempt to fix another problem which kept shutting my computer down but actually turned out to be freeserve's problem,I changed a few things on my computer. Things such as,I went into control panel, administrative tools, services, went into anything regarding the "rcp" and changed it.Now that its changed I cant seem to fix it back again and my ability to copy and paste, open media player, open different links within sites is gone.A message was received saying that the problem was due to the rpc and sumthing about a buffer and a lack of memory, can someone please help me with this problem, desperate.

Ooopps misfire...

Can you clarify exactly what you did please?

It sounds like you've turned the RPC Service off.

Currently trying to find the answer for someone else too...

Have you run the Stinger program above ??

The virus was probably what caused the problems last night.

Try a system restore to before you played with the settings. Might need to re-run the Stinger again in case it restores the virus.
