RJ11 cable question

  charlton200 12:27 26 May 2006

when i was on dialup i had a 15-20 modem exention cable between my phone point and my modem.

Now i have set up broadband the RJ11 cable of 5 ft is not long enough so i used the cable i had before.
everthing works ok.

But my question is , is the cable i used before a RJ11 cable and is it ok to use this.

Yes, the connectors and wiring sequence should be the same and you can safely use it.
