What finance program are you running?

Microsoft Money has (rarely for Microsoft) an excellent backup procedure; that will save a copy of the "database" whenever you exit the program - you can then periodically copy the file to a CD for storing...

Are you not interested in backing up the whole PC?
If you were; then Acronis TrueBackup has worked wonders for us in the past:-

Can you backup to a DVD? that way you could just copy it. Otherwise I think Acronis will let you "Mount" an image and it becomes a virtual drive. Since I have never tried to run a program this way I can't be sure but you can always take Acronis as a free 30 day trial and give it a whirl.

I am using Quicken.

I have used Acronis but all I want is a little backup program that can backup Quicken to a CD and then run Quicken from the CD.
Acronis is a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Suggestions please for a small program.
