Replacing personal folders in Outlook.

I've formatted my hard drive and now need to replace all of the folders and their contents that i saved. I saved them by Exporting the folders as a .pst file.

However, when i try to replace this file (by Importing as suggested by Help) it refuses to do so, saying:

"Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use" After clicking OK, it then says:

"File Access is denied. You do not have the permission to access the file C:XXXXX" This is despite being logged on as Administrator.

I'm running Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 also.

Any help is gratefully recieved

Don't copy the files - just open them from the File-Open menu.

Then you can drag and drop from your old pst folders into the new ones, and finally close the old pst file.
