Replacing Graphics Card

  1933 11:33 04 Mar 2011

I would like to replace the graphics card on my Medion MD8833. At present it is fitted with a GeForce 8600GT with only 256 video memory. I was considering a Raedon 5870 with 1GB mem, but I do not think the double sized board will fit. Any ideas which card would be suitable. Many thanks Dave

Is this your PC?click here if so the card should fit OK. You might have issues with your power supply as the card requires 2 6-pin PCI-E connectors so I think that you would need to upgrade your PSU to at least 500w.
It would be preferable to get one with the connectors, something like this click here= or if the PSU did does not come with 2 PCI-E connectors you can also use something like here
