Replacement recomend

Recently my grafix card went on windows 98 and it only lasted 9 months. It is the only one available now. Iv'e got a new computer on the way but do you think it's worth £50 replacing it just for gaming? It has 10005MB and loads of software for transfer!!!!

Isn't it covered by the warrenty, 9 months is not a long time for a gcard to fail?

I got it from a call out person and it was the only one we could get. He said it wouldn't last long.

Is it worth running for software transfering and then selling it. If so what price would you recomend?

just out of interest, why did you buy it if he said he wouldn't last long? why not wait until he could a better one?

If you have a particular reason for keeping the computer running then it is worth it.

If not then put the disks in the new PC for as long as it takes to transfer the data.

The motherboard is one of the older type, so the grafix card isn't the slot in. Now there's hardly any of the supporting type.
