Hi

The 'Enter' button on my Acer 292 Travelmate lappie has broken. Has anyone come across good lappie spares or lappie keyboard retailers on the Net? Second hand bits are fine if necessary.

Thanks

Hi George.

I had a not dis-similar problem in that I wanted a replacement keyboard on an IBM ThinkPad. And replacements are not cheap.

My solution? I kept an eye open in ebay and eventually found one there. It took a couple of weeks, but I got one.

Micro Mart is the 'puterers' Exchange and Mart
Comes out Thursdays at WH Smith- all sorts of spares and bits'n'bobs therein.

Do you have Compter Fairs near you?
There are inevitably, 'breakers and menders' stall there, look one up in your local free newspaper under local events.
