repeated reboot

Doing a search on this did not bring up anything in particular.
One of my flock- when starting from cold will get POST reboot POST reboot 4/5 times then a start aa normal or occasionally into safe mode from whence he can tart 'Normal'
I advised him to Hibernate when shutting down until I could get to Him- which worked fine Hibernate then start up as 'Resuming Windows'
When I got to him running scans of various sorts did not reveal anything untoward .
Any ides what else to consider?

I would suggest that you unplug any hardware connected to the PC and then reboot. This includes keyboard and mouse.

Once rebooted reconnect each item in turn, if you get a reboot post plugging in an item then the fault could be with the hardware you have just connected.

If this does not work run system file checker, start, run and type sfc. it will run automatically.

If this does not work then reboot to safe mode and run defrag.

Still not booting, try a selective boot here
