removing NORTON

  pinnicat 16:22 24 May 2006

After a period on inactivity, i have finally booted my laptop, which has all the AV defs out of date along with my Norton subscriptions.
Problem is I just cannot delete it from progs to install a new one. It is not in the programmes to delete population anywhere.
But everytime i boot, it appears.
Any ideas?
I have tried to load a free version, to see if that will sit over the top, but no.

You can get a clean tool from Nortons site for your version of whatever you have.

You don't specify what Norton product & date, but one of these should do: click here, click here, click here, click here. G
