Removing MS service pack un-install files

My Windows folder has about 100 files in blue and marked e.g. $NtUninstallKB etc, plus one marked ServicePackUninstall. These, plus one in black titled $hf_mig$, come to about 1Gb. Can I safely remove these files, or should I copy them to a second drive and then remove them ?

You can safely remove the, they are only uninstall files and if you are sure you don't want to uninstall you service pack there is no problem

Should have said I would leave the $hf_mig$ file.
