Remove Wanadoo branding from Outlook Express

My brother-in-law has solved the icon problem he was having, thanks to help from this forum.

One thing remains, it says 'Outlook Express provided by Wanadoo'.

If he has Spybot S&D or Spywareblaster you can change it within these programs too.

Sections 1 & 2 are the relevant ones for OE.
If you don';t want to fiddle with the registry try click here Outlook Express Tweaker.

I've sent him the links from VoG™ and Belatucadrus.

Taff™, would the Spywareblaster tools change Outlook Express? I've changed my Internet Explorer to experiment, but it hasn't changed my OE.

Got to admit I`ve never noticed the branding in OE so I guess you`re right.

Outlook Express branding can be altered, but it's a different method to that of IE. See:

Just one remnant in IE - top right below the X for closing, instead of the Windows logo, there is a 'W' Wanadoo logo.

Yep, that's the one. Editing the Registry by telephone is not easy!

The moral is, don't pick up an ISPs disc 'to try'.
