I have windows vista and windows 7 loaded onto the hard drive. When I start up, a short way into the start up sequence i have the offer of starting up in vista or windows 7. Now i have removed vista, i don't want to keep offering it to me, how do i stop windows offering me the choice of the 2 operating systems at start up please.

download a free program called VISTA BOOT PRO that will let you change operating system entries.

Go to Start > Run, type in,

click OK. Click on the "Boot" tab, highlight the Vista entry and click the "Remove" button, click Apply and OK to exit, then reboot, it should boot straight to W7 without giving you any options.

"Remove" button.... should read.... "Delete" button.
