Remote monitoring / viewing over home network

Would it be possible for me to remotely view the screen of my second home PC over a wireless network.

I was thinking of being able to see what the other user is doing in real time as you can with "Remote Assistance". (The other user being my six year old daughter who seems to have a built in limit of 45 seconds between shouts of "Daaaaad").

Is it possible to set up remote assistance between 2 networked PC's permanently?

Remote desktop assistance via XP?

or BeyondRemote - no longer free but i still use the free version of the client/server programs if you require it. click here

If you have XP Pro you can use built in Remote Desktop, I have used this for some time to update other Pc's on my home network. click here
