reinstalling windows 98se

  spud2 18:55 04 May 2003

My computer is really slowing down and locking up and I have finally decided to re-install windows but my question is how do I back up my dial up connection and ISP details all the updated I installed for windows and the antivirus updates that were downloaded from the net. I want to re-install windows with all the updates included. I have a range of back up tools and disk imaging tools. Any Ideas.

Dial up connections can simply be dragged from DUN to a floppy - but it easy to recreate them if you know the ISP phone number and your username/password.

Windowsupdates will need to be downloaded again.

Thanks for the advice, I will save the settings to a floppy disk.
