Ive deleted all of the files that Crapcleaner recommended and in there were a stack of registry entries and values.I ran regseeker last night and this has found a huge list to delete. Is it safe to do so using regseeker, even though crapcleaner cleaned out a stack of reg stuff??Is it safe also to use them together??Thanks
Yes, I use CCleaner and Regseeker together and they seem to compliment one another - at least on Win2k. On XP I use a different reg cleaner - I am not near my laptop so I can't remember it but it works fine alongside CCleaner.
The answer to both questions is Yes. Anyway regseeker backs up files you delete (Look at Backup on the left in Regseeker)
ok i may be being thick heer but how do you actually delete the registries that it finds???or does it automatically do so??(cue egg on my face)
yep egg on face it is. Ive just done it.so ashemed. lol
You can delete the backup files the same way when you no longer need them. That way you can avoid eggs.Don't worry it's not really obvious how to do it.
