HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\Network Monitor
also HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\cmdService

My pc was infected with spyware I downloaded spybot and it lists these two in red, before I delete them are they definitely spyware as I have had a network set up but am not very clued up about networks and dont want to delete a registry key that might be genuine.thanks

Backup the Registry and then try deleting the lines or create a System Restore point and then delete them.

You can use the backup or return to the original SR point if necessary.

I recognise the second one as the Command service; an integral part of the OS.

So are Services but it's best to be sure rather than sorry.

Mind you Search and Destroy warns in red if the Windows Firewall is Disabled, even though you know this is the correct configuration for your purposes.

If your Windows firewall is disabled and S&D comes up with warnings that you know are really OK, you can set S&D to ignore those in future scans
