Can anyone suggest a free registry cleaner that is very easy and safe to use for non-computer folk please?

Hi phil. The only registry cleaner that is really safe to use is RegClean click here, but this is only for Windows95/98/ME. The free registry cleaner that is said to be best is RegSeeker, but using it carries some risk click here. Before using any registry editing tool, it is a good idea to backup your computer software.

Go to Start/ run type regedit enter then click on file/ Export choose where you want to send it /save. If you want to restore go to the file double click & follow the instructions.
