Regarding IBM X30 laptop

  alexgray104 21:49 05 Mar 2006

I am currently bidding on the above laptop on eBay that states that an DVD-Rom is included. However, when at work earlier the I.T guys said the X30 range only have external drives so I'd have to lug that around to as well as the laptop. So I'm here to clear it up; does an IBM Thinkpad X30 come with internal or external optical drives as standard???
Many Thanks

As usual, this combination of size and weight has come at the cost of internal floppy and optical drives. These are available as external units, and as usual, you get to pay extra for them - £49 for the floppy drive and a stern £293 for a DVD/CD-RW combo.
