reformat external drive

  surfer47 16:29 28 Mar 2010

I have a redundant drive that is partitioned into two parts and I would like to restore it to one and clear the disk to enable it to be used as a backup. How would i go about this and are there any pitfalls?

If you have Vista or Windows 7 you can delete the partition in Computer management> Disk Management and then simply format it.
