RECYCLER Folder Question

  JayDay 15:48 31 Dec 2004

I have two HDD's split into 2. 4 Partitions in total . Each drive has a folder called RECYCLER which I understand is where deleted files go. When I empty the recycle bin the RECYCLER folders on my D, E and F drive still contain old deleted files in fact up to 1GB's worth. Why aren't the RECYCLER folders on the D, E and F drives emptied?

Right click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop and go to properties, you may have an option to remove empty all Bins - I can't be sure since I only have the one drive and partition.

Right click on the recycle bin icon on the desktop.

Choose properties and ensure "Use one setting for all drives" button is chosen.

Done that. Looking at JaßîsFaß ˜ links I am wondering if I had a corrupt info file. Only time will tell. Thanks all of you for the prompt responses
