When I try to restore something from the recycle bin the computer freezes and I have to go to CTR/Alt/DEL to unfreeze it. I cannot empty bin either. Same result. Any Ideas?
Boot to a DOS prompt and type:deltree c:\recycledAnswer 'yes' to the subsequent promptThat will delete the recycle bin. It will be recreated on the next boot.
Typed is as directed, got " DELTREE IS NOT RECOGNISED AS A COMMAND" . is that the correct spelling?
try thisAt the command prompt, type:rd /s \recycler
