Recovering Data from an Unreadable CD-ROM

  thegreypanther 20:14 19 Mar 2006

I have a CD-ROM data disc which has somehow failed, - it isn't recognised in any CD-drive. Is this disc now completely useless, or is there some way I can still recover the data from it?

If its not readable on any drive i think the only way would be a specialst firm, there are a few apps that can recover some data from corrupt cd's but most would need to acsess the cd in the drive.

You could try ISOBuster click here but as ACOLYTE says if the drive doesn't recognise it...
