recording/copying from cd

hi, how do i copy a song from an audio cd to my hardrive as an mp3 file?

If you have windows XP, the media player can do this by default. I prefer the Winamp approach, in place of the now defunct Liquid Audio. There are many programmes available for choice try here click here
