Recording Radio

The BBC web site is particularly useful in allowing one to catch programmmes after they've been broadcast. Can one legally record these ( and live broadcasts) to an MP3 player or CD for subsequent personal use ? If so, what S/W does one need ?

I asked the BBC about this when BBC 7 first came around.

They say they are quite happy for you to record any BBC programme and use it for your own personal entertainment. You must not re-broadcast it or use it for public performance without explicit permission from them.

You need Real Player or Real Player alternative. I would suggest the latter click here

You get that going then open Jet Audio, set to record and the screen should indicate what to do next.
