Record TV film to DVD and getting rid of adverts

  [DELETED] 18:30 06 May 2006

I've recorded a film from Sky onto a DVD-RW using my DVD recorder. Is there any software out there that would enable to strip out the adverts and the rubbish at the beginning and end of the film using my PC and DVR RW drive so I'm just left with the film and no breaks?
I already have Nero and DVD Shrink and was wondering the best way to do this.

When I've recorded with my DVD Recorder, I use DVD Shrink to rip to my HD and use the reauthor setting so that I can select the beginning & end frames to remove the unwanted bits.

I've heard that Videoredo is good for removing the ads.

Thanks for the DVD Shrink tip there.

In to My Postings.

I usually sit there with my thumb on the Pause key and then hope I get it right.
