Recommend a Scanner that can .....

1) Scan photos
2) Scan negatives (probably the older members will know what they are !)
3) Scan 35 mm slides
4) Scan documents

I know that you could say "How long is a piece of string, but was just wondering what YOU would recommend

I have an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo.

Does all of that and very good it is too.

Been superceded now, I think, but Epson 4490 looks pretty good.

Amazon has the cheapest price (but not in stock)??

I have an Epson V100 which will do all that, set you back about £60.

I've just checked Ebuyer and it seems to have been superseded by the Epson V200 @ £63.84

I agree with pj123.

Apologies for quoting another magazine, but PCA stopped putting their top 10's online a while ago.

Epson Perfection V350 is on the PCPro A list and has been for a while.

Canoscan 8600 also got a good review but the Epson beat it for image quality, which I imagine is a major consideration when buying a scanner.

Canoscan 4400F is what I use with excellent results. It does four slides at a time and also multiscans photos and sorts them into individual lots.

Also does negatives.
