A Really Uninteresting Fact

  Confab 18:09 06 Jun 2003

I have discovered that I if I log on to a different PC at work then I can re-vote on the PC Adviser Poll. Since there are about 10,000 pc's in the Office I suppose I could influence the result of every poll. I'm pretty sad I kno!!

Maybe it's time for home.

Go home and have a cold one.

PS you could just clear your cookies and do it from your own machine..why you would want to though...

  Valvegrid 18:18 06 Jun 2003

Don't tell him that, he might want the exercise :-)

  Confab 18:19 06 Jun 2003

That's wierd. Are you sure about the cookie thing as I do lear them almost every night and I can only vote once from home?

Now you've got me thinknig and I'll have to investigate.

Ill just mark this as "solved"

  spikeychris 19:16 06 Jun 2003

You think I have been wrong in the past..read the below

"Where a calculator on the ENIAC is equipped with 18,000 vacuum tubes and weighs 30 tons, computers in the future may have only 1,000 vacuum tubes and perhaps weigh 1 ton."

- Popular Mechanics, March 1949.

They must have envisaged your machine..
