Reading a NERO IN CD on another PC

  MartynHoll 23:10 29 Sep 2003

I have been given a CD by a friend as his old PC 'died' and now has a new PC which cannot access his 'data' CD. He thought it was corrupted and has given it to me to have a look at.
I put the CD in the drive and it was picked up by Nero IN CD as a data disk that has been formatted as an IN CD data disk.

When I open it in Windows Explorer, I can see his sub folder called 'events' but cannot see any files in that folder. If I look at properties, there is 75MB of data. Any ideas on how I can view the files?

are you using the cdr drive or a writer to access the disc..

I am using a CDR/CDW drive - it came bundled with Nero.

have you checked folder preferences on your machine " show all Files " just in case they are hidden.?

I have just tried the same CD in my laptop that has an older version of IN CD and it works fine!
