Hi All!
I am selling my e machines PC (Win XP Home) to a friend today but can't find any discs or documentation that came with the pc when I bought it 4yrs ago. Is there anyway of re-installing XP without the disc? At the moment the PC is running quite slow and crashes quite frequentley.

Try using the F10 or the F11 facility when you reboot. XP of that age may have the hidden partition with xp in there, but this is no guarantee.

best of luck.

If you find the partition that TIMBO mentioned and do a 'restore to factory setting', all that will be on the disc after is the operating system.
