Trying to design a new web-site, when a page i have written is opened, i would like it to automatically re-direct to another page without the user having to do anything. can this be done?

I am using Frount Page.

I suggest you re-post in the WebDesign forum where all the Web experts "hang out".

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="4;url=htt p://w ww.mynewurl.co.uk">

Hopefully the above will not have formatted itself to a "Click Here" link & you will be able to see the text.

The number 4 in the above represent duration until the refresh occurs eg 4 seconds, this can be changed to suit your needs

The quickest way is to use this:

<META http-equiv="refresh" content="2;
URL=click here">

This will redirect the user in 2 second to 2ndpage.html

Hope this helps.
