A rare event.....

Microsoft has not issued any Security updates etc today...:-) See:

Does that mean no fixes are necessary or no fixes are available? :)

Probably the latter...

Anyway, they are on automatic for me so I only know if they have come when I get a message that the PC has rebooted itself...

Couple of minor ones to day,But no serious downloads.

  Stuartli 21:37 13 Mar 2007

The minor ones are non-security related.

To be frank I can't remember a time previously when MS didn't issue security updates...:-)

Probably buried their head in the sand, hoping they will go away.

Turned mine off two years ago can't remember last time i had an update, i consider my PC secure, tis also a flier, no probs ...

  Hugo15 21:45 13 Mar 2007

For the last couple of days when I have logged on the little yellow shield has appeared in the system tray but nothing has downloaded. I am set to automatically download updates so I am now confused as to what is happening. Ideas?

  Stuartli 21:47 13 Mar 2007

Click on the icon - it should open up a panel to indicate what is available.

However, the updates I'm referring to are the ones normally issued on the second Tuesday of each month.

  Hugo15 21:50 13 Mar 2007

I have tried clicking on it but nothing happens and then it just disappears.

  Stuartli 21:57 13 Mar 2007

Should eventually reappear.

  Stuartli 21:57 13 Mar 2007

....to provide the non-security updates released.
