Running a Celeron 433MHz on a P6BXT-A+ mainboard (do I sound like I know what I'm talking about?) I wanted to add some extra RAM. The mainboard users manual says I must use 168pin 3.3V non-buffered DIMM, either standard or synchronous and running at 100MHz. I bought two DIMM 128Mb 168pin units (synchronous). When installed, they get recognised only as 64Mb each instead of 128Mb. I've tried various combinations in the three DIMM slots.
Can anyone suggest what's the problem? And how to fix it?
