I am a Quicken enthusiast and have been using Quicken 2001 - then I had an opportunity to purchase on Amazon the Quicken 2004 version. The installation recommended removing the earlier version - which I agreed to - but now the latest version will not run because it says a DLL file is missing. The reference is MFC70.DLL. Oddly enough this problem was answered on Page 102 of PCA January 2011 (I am a subscriber) and it says to type sfc/scannow - in search on start but this did nothing.Has anyone any ideas how I may resolve please?
Thanks VoG™ for responding so quickly. I'm sorry I didn't mention that I have Windows Vista as my OS. The link you gave me appeared to be specifically for Windows XP. Would reinstalling Vista reinstall the missing DLL?
