Question for O broadband users

  charlton200 17:52 14 May 2008

I am 5 days away from being connected to O2 broadband. I have never had wireless before, so i have a couple of question for you.

I have got my box and I have the broadband adapter.
When i get told I'm live do I install the adapter software first or do i install the broadband software first.

Anouther point is it comes with mcafee security. Is this anti virus or firewall software.

Do i keep my avg software and zone alarm software or do i unistall them first.

Many thanks.

Install the software first and follow the instructions to connect your router.

I didn't install the McAfee security system.

what software first?
The broadband adapter software or the wireless router software.

O2 have sent you a disc (software) and a router (hardware).

Do not install the hardware.

When you get confirmation from O2 that your are connected that is the time to insert your disc and install the software as well as receiving instruction on what to do to correctly install the hardware.
