question on networking

Hi, I have just bought a laptop running win. xp home. It doesn't have the centrino mobility thingy, so can I still network it with my pc also running win xp home using a belkin wireless networking kit?.....

Yes, you can get a wireless card that goes into the laptop's PCMCIA slot. Belkin do them.

Hi Vog, when I netwoked my 2 pcs, (I only have 1 now), I didn't need to have a wireless card?....

Plug the router in the back of the desktop (into the network card) then plug Internet connection lead into the router. Shove a PCMCIA card in the laptop and bobs your uncle.
