Ok, can anyone help here. Computer has just come back with new HDD fitted with Windows XP SP2, The motheboard has a Sis Chipset and is a ECS 7KS5A rev3.1 running 2x256 MB SDRAM. No internet access. Running a 64MB AGP x4 MSI MX440 AGP Card

Problem is I have installed these above games and none of them run the computer just freezes up.

So I am trying to find links to the websites for tech support to find out if there are any known compatibilty issues with WinXP Home SP2 Or sis chipsets.

Anyone know of any reasons why these games will cause the comptuer to crash please, kids are moaning.

You will need to update your graphics card drivers to play these games without freezing.

The driver version is Nvidia's 61.7.7 Sept 04 will the newer Nvidia driver really fix this as the card is about 3 years old ?

I will download and try the new Nvidia driver, will have to be Sunday cos I am taking the lady out.

Also check that any update patches for the games themselves have been installed as these often sort out any incompatability problems.

There are reports about various games(incl.Quake 3)not running with sp2
