Is it possible to make the various internet sites you have running on aol (or maybe other internet providers for that matter) appear on the taskbar instead of them being within the aol program itself which is on the taskbar????? I hope that makes sense.

any help would be much appreciated!

yes, it is, how though is a different matter! ive seen an aquaintance of mine do it before but i dont know how. i too have aol so would find an answer equally intruiging.

I hereby call for double help...please

I am not sure what you are saying here but here is what I think you want, instead of browsing with aol open internet explorer and browse with that then everytime you open a new window with ie they will appear on the task bar. Hope that helps

If this is in XP, right click taskbar, Properties, untick "show similar taskbar buttons".

untick "group similar taskbar buttons". You may need to reboot.
