PSFree.exe. No Disk. (Error message on start-up)

  Cybermaxx 16:34 26 Mar 2004

I always get the above error message on booting up. The body of the error message is:-

"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in to drive\Device\Hard disk2\DR18."

It gives the following options:- Cancel/Try Again/Continue. I just click "Continue", and it goes away. I don't understand what's happening here. Any ideas?

Also, I recently uninstalled McAfee Firewall. Despite this, a pop-up box keeps appearing asking me whether or not I want to update the product. It's just irritating! Any way to get rid of this nuisance once and for all? Cheers.

Yes, I'm using the Panicware Pop-up Stopper. I got iit from the downloads section of this site. Is that what's causing the "No Disk" message?

It would appear to be.

P.S. The Google toolbar has a very good pop-up stopper click here

Thanks VoG. I've installed the Google tool bar, and it works fine.
