Protecting children on the 'net...

Hello all,

With the summer holidays nearly upon us I know my 7 year old daughter will be on and off the net.

I have it in mind to set up her own user account on XP Home and then for her viewing to be 'filtered' in some way or another.

Any free software out there for this please?

Also, can I adjust the security settings on the PC that will affect her account only?

Many thanks.

Have you got a "Internet Security" suite installed? Such as ZoneLabs Internet Security or Norton Internet Security?
These "suites" have parental controls built in....

I don't know about any free filters, but there are...

Thanks for those thoughts.

I use Avast for my AV, so use no packages like those you suggest.

Will check out the links...
