You know tere are times when some of your media files havent got the right icon. They have the sort of icon where it has like a little white box with red and ble squares in, like a program icon. Well thats wat I got. I have got a file, and under properties > Type of File, it says 'File' And I can't change it to .avi.

Anyone help. Thanks.

PS it still plays though

Right click it and select Open With. Select Choose Program, Select Windows Media Player from the list and tick 'Always use this program to open this type of file'.

=(. the 'Always use this program....' is greyed out.

Where did you get these files from?

Hi, I have solved it. All I had to do was type '.avi' in the rename part of the file =)

Thanks for all the help.
