projector fault

  jimnastic 00:35 26 Mar 2010

hi, i've got hold of a wall projector for a project in work. i've plugged it into my laptop and eventually managed to get an output, although its not the output i'm looking for. all that is showing on the wall is my desktop wallpaper, but no icons, and no open windows.

i have a feeling it will just wee a check box somewhere i need to click but i've tried everything in my knowledge to no avail.

can anyone please help??

It is after all 'seeing' what your computer sends.
Learning more about your computer is the way to go.
For example if the displayed image is only the wall paper then the machine[computer] is in standby mode waiting for you to do something
So click the mouse and[as with on a monitor screen] what ever is you were doing previously should come up.
This is what I perceive from what you have told us so far.
