I have a NFORCE4-A939 motherboard, I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me if it supports AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ socket 939 Dual Core? I can't find it anywhere!

We will need the make and model of the motherboard.

it is there NFORCE4-A939

  Totally-braindead 21:00 26 Apr 2006

No the make and model such as ASUS a8n-sli. What you have given just tells me its a nforce 4 chipset and it takes socket 939 processors it says nothing about make or model.

My ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard is also Nforce 4 939

Where did you get the board from? If SIW doesn't tell you then that may help in that I should be able to trace it. Is it a branded computer such as Dell or Evesham or whatever or did someone build it for you?

  sebtiger 21:11 26 Apr 2006

Well, I got it from PCWorld, a few moths back, I built the computer and have been running a AMD 64 3200+ on it

It could possibly be this click here but thats not the make you've listed, it might be the model. If SIW doesn't list it could you actually physicall look at the board for a makers name and model? Or try "Scan my system" with Crucial it may tell you click here
