Athlon [email protected]+
could someone please tell me if this processor is worth buying many thanks

Your question is like asking me to choose between two eggs of the same size and colour, it does not compare or say anything to me about what you want to know

well i can buy it brand new with a mother board and a fan for about £ 120 so is it worth buying im currently using a xp 2400

  Technotiger 23:46 29 Dec 2004

Hi, is there anything wrong with your current setup? Otherwise I personally cannot see any reason for more or less wasting £120.
Happy New Year.

  simon-238946 23:49 29 Dec 2004

so you think it is not worth upgrading my system then thats all im asking

  Technotiger 23:51 29 Dec 2004

Hi again, unless you have a problem with your present setup - no, not worth upgrading. Cheers.

  woodchip 00:00 30 Dec 2004

No you have faster than me as well, but do not think that you would see enough of a speed increase. If you was going from AMD 2.2 XP then maybe but what do you want to do with it. I could find better things to spend it on if I had your setup

  simon-238946 00:04 30 Dec 2004

just thought that a 3600 processor compared to a 2400 would be so much quicker thats all i can get a 38oo for about £20 more

  Technotiger 00:08 30 Dec 2004

I doubt you would notice any significant increase or improvement on what you already have - so why spend £120 just for the sake of it. On the other hand, if you have just won the Lottery :-))

Cheers - enjoy what you have my friend.
